A day in the life of BBC CIO Tiffany Hall

Auntie opens up

Morning I live near the BBC so I walk or cycle in early and clear the backlog of email. In a typical day I'll have a one-to-one with a direct report, providing an outline of what we are up to, steering groups for HR systems, project boards, network plans, a strategic direction meeting with vendors like Siemens.

Lunch is from the BBC canteen. I usually buy a sandwich and bring it to my desk.

Evening I have been invited to more work dinners since I started this job than the entire rest of my career. I could be dining out every night of the week.
