Government CTO Liam Maxwell will take part in an interview with CIO 100 No 1 James Thomas, director of ICT at University of London College Hospitals, at the upcoming CIO Summit on September 25.
Thomas, who was placed top of the CIO 100 back in May, and Maxwell are both confirmed for a 'CIO 2 CIO' discussion during the afternoon's technology session.
If you have any questions you would like Thomas to ask the Cabinet Office CTO, CIO magazine will be passing these on so Maxwell can respond to your queries about the government's digital and IT strategy. They can be left in the comments section, via any of our social networks or by sending us an email.
Last month Sheffield City Council CIO Paul and Halton Borough Council CIO Simon Riley expressed doubts about the government's 'digital by default' strategy, warning that it could alienate those that most need the UK's public services.
The CIO Summit technology session, the last of the afternoon, will also feature Severn Trent Water CIO Myron Hrycyk, who recently discussed the importance of having a coherent mobile strategy, and head of IT at Aston Martin Lagonda Simon Callow.
