The CIO 100 infrastructure database collates the software and hardware infrastructure of the 100 companies in the CIO 100. This unique table provides the CIO community with a compare and contrast data set for analysing their peers. This is the first time we have collated and presented such an in depth collection of data.

CIO asked what projects were being undertaken in the next 12 months and discovered that many were considering overhauling their communications networks to support either voice over IP or unified communications. Upgrading Microsoft Office and operating systems was also high on the list of tasks, as were improvements to e-commerce and customer management systems.
