North Yorkshire County Council is looking for suppliers to design and provide a website worth up to £9 million, used by local public sector workers.

The site is known as Everybody Benefits. It offers both local shopping discounts, as well as childcare vouchers and information for families with children.

The council is looking for two suppliers to work for up to four years under the framework deal, expected to be worth between £7.5 million and £9 million.

The website will be available to authorities within the North Yorkshire metropolitan area as well as the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and North York Moors National Park Authority. It will be used by employees of government departments and agencies in the area, as well as local NHS bodies, police, emergency services, educational establishments and registered social landlords.

Suppliers have until 9 August to request participation in the bidding process.
