High Street computer retailer, PC World is claiming to be the first to build the world's most eco-friendly PC.

The company made the claim today, saying it planned to make the hardware from recycled and recyclable materials and offset carbon emissions to neutralise the environmental impact of the manufacturing process.

It will also use the most energy-efficient PC components and come bundled with Windows Vista operating system.

The new ‘carbon-neutral’ PC will be manufactured in Europe and could be launched as soon as this autumn, aimed at eco-conscious consumers.
