Subway is set to roll out a new point of sales system to 30,000 restaurants.

The sandwich chain will install the Torex QuickService Restaurant system in a bid to move to a single point of sale system in its outlets around the world.

Subway said it needed a single point of sale system that suited both individual franchisees and the company overall. The move is designed to control costs and enable fast system rollouts globally.
