Millennials have been - perhaps unfairly - derided over recent years. In terms of the workplace, they've been painted as entitled, demanding and lazy compared to their older peers.
However, this can also be because they are more assertive of their rights and more exacting in what they expect from employers and the workplace. And young people entering the workforce with little expectation of a job for life (or even a pension and a home of their own) expect and value different things to those of us who are working in order to earn a comfortable third act.
