Security is a global problem. But geography matters. Whether that’s local compliance regulations, emerging trends around specific or evolving threats, or even geopolitics influencing which groups might target you, where your company sits in the world affects your security. As a result, you need information tailored to you in order to understand risks and better protect your organisation.
Since 2002, CSO has aimed to serve enterprise security decision-makers and users with the critical information they need to stay ahead of evolving threats and defend against criminal cyberattacks. While we’ve always had a global focus, much of the content has been more geared towards a US audience.
However, we are pleased to announce that IDG is today launching CSO UK, a local edition of CSO Online. This new publication comes with all the same great globally-relevant content, along with regular regionally-specific stories tailored to a UK audience, including interviews with UK CSOs, analysis on local trends, and advice on the growing role the C-Suite play in helping keeping businesses secure.
In the coming months we will also be launching several CSO events in the UK, where we will gather local security practitioners to discuss their security challenges and share potential solutions, as well as look at how CSOs, CIOs, and the business can work more closely together to achieve mutual goals in a secure way, so watch this space.
