Jim Hagemann Snabe, SAP’s co-CEO, has been confirmed as keynote speaker at this year’s SAP User Conference.

Snabe, was appointed to his role in February along side Bill McDermott, SAP's head of sales, after the sudden removal of CEO Leo Aptheker, following poor results and customer disatisfaction over changes to support charges.

Speaking at the Cebit trade show in Germany in March, Snabe and McDermott promised a new era where they listened to end users and incresed the company's rate of innovation.

Snabe heads the Business Solutions & Technology division, which is responsible for product development of large and small enterprise solutions. He has been a member of the executive board since July 2008, prior to which he held a range of management roles.

Snabe started at SAP Denmark in 1990 as a consultant. He had a two-year break from SAP in 1994, when he became a consulting practice leader at IBM Denmark, but returned to SAP in 1996 as managing director of SAP Sweden for three years.

By 2002, Snabe was appointed to a more global position in SAP, responsible for the company’s business product development group. Five years later, he became leader for the Business Suite division, managing development of SAP Business Suite applications.

SAP's end user show Sapphire, begins next week.
