Based in Livingston, the new jobs cover a wide range of skills, from juniors and graduates to highly-skilled IT professionals. The entertainment and communications company is looking for a variety of people, including senior technical test analysts, Agile Java developers, technical project managers and developers.
They will work in the Customer Business Systems team, which is responsible for the technology platform that supports Sky’s customer operations, products and services.

In other jobs news, the latest monthly report from pre-employment screening company Powerchex shows a slight uplift in the number of IT jobs offered in the financial services sector in February.
Across the whole sector, the number of financial services jobs increased by seven percent, while the number of IT contractor appointments increased slightly by three percent, which was a significant improvement on the previous month. In addition, the figure for IT was eight percent higher than in February 2010.
“We are seeing some stabilisation in the number of confirmed appointments made to IT contractors working within financial services, after an 80 percent drop in January.
“While this is good news for those looking for contracting opportunities, things have a way to recover in this area,” said Alexandra Kelly, managing director of Powerchex.
