ITV has signed a five-year IT service management, infrastructure and application management services deal with Accenture.
The TV and media company hopes to use Accenture’s media and broadband centre in Rome to rapidly roll out new products and developments in a market in which it has struggled over recent years.
Accenture’s “ deep experience in web TV, over-the-top services and the digital supply chain will help us as we look to transform our business,” said Richard Cross, Group Technology Director, ITV.
ITV will move its desktop services, help desk, and datacentre management to Accenture later this year. Financial terms of the five-year agreement were not disclosed.
