RightNow has released a CRM application geared exclusively for the retail sector based on RightNow 8. The firm says it has taken its experience working with retail clients, including Cabela’s, Drugstore.com, Hallmark.com and The Sharper Image, into account when devising the functionality.

It’s long been CRM industry practise to introduce highly verticalised versions of products, although the success or otherwise of these has been open to considerable debate.
