Swiss Re has renewed a business process outsourcing deal with CSC until 2020.
Three years ago, the deal was renewed to 2015, but under a new agreement another five years have been added to the period covered.
The extension covers the reinsurer’s direct life business, and aims to improve efficiency and customer service.
Swiss Re has outlined “innovation strategies” with CSC to improve administration, customer service and system alignment. It will incorporate new features of CSC’s CyberLife, Customer Service Accelerator and Claims Management Accelerator software to improve online delivery and self service, and to improve claims management.
More than forty large blocks of US life insurance policies have been moved into CSC’s Life and Annuity BPO operations so far.
