Today I worked at home, mainly dealing with the correspondence backlog, but I teleconferenced with colleagues in the office regarding our planned "Turning Data into Intelligence for Effective Customer Services" seminars.
We planned the content of presentations, which Shane is drafting with help from Graeme. The idea is to articulate the principles of data intelligence by reference to the strategic principles, overview the Newham systems infrastructure and "Flight Path" and describe the planned approach to data quality assessment and improvement planning.
We will exemplify both the benefits of clean data (and disbenefits of poor data) for services, and the potential for shared services, with some demonstrations included.
In the evening, I drove to Reading for the next days' Shared Learning Group Quarterly Review Meeting. For once, the journey was straight-forward. I was still feeling a little off-colour, so went to bed at an unusually early hour for these events!
